Our Paper Receives Acceptance from Physics in Medicine & Biology!
The manuscript “Self-Cascade Latent Schrödinger Bridge for CT Field-of-View Extension,” authored by Xihao Wu, Jiacheng Liu, Haijun Yu, Andreas Maier, and Yixing Huang, has been accepted by Physics in Medicine & Biology. The study introduces a self-cascade latent Schrödinger bridge (SCL-SB) that combines a two-round shared-weight cascade with a frequency-aware residual mechanism to recover missing peripheral anatomy in truncated CT images while maintaining efficient inference. Congratulations to all the authors!

Zuodong Zhong Receives the 2025 Baosteel Outstanding Student Award
Congratulations to Zuodong Zhong on receiving the 2025 Baosteel Outstanding Student Award! Established in 1990 by Baosteel and administered under China’s Ministry of Education, the Baosteel Education Award is one of the most prestigious nationwide education honors in China, covering more than 120 universities across 31 provinces and recognizing roughly 500 outstanding students nationwide each year. At the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), the award is selected university-wide across all majors and grade levels, with only two undergraduate recipients granted annually — making it one of USTB’s most competitive student honors. Zuodong is a senior undergraduate majoring in Automation at USTB’s School of Automation and Electrical Engineering, and will join our group for his graduate studies. The award has been officially featured by USTB’s WeChat public account: https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/BIi0fDSpUGNLGTRJJCXMlg. We warmly congratulate Zuodong on this remarkable recognition and look forward to welcoming him to the lab.
